Our team of receptionists will assist you in making your non-urgent appointment. Please try and book in advance. If for any reason, you are unable to make your appointment, we would appreciate it if you would let us know in order that the appointment could be offered to another patient.
An appointment is scheduled for 10 minutes and is for one person only. If you feel you need longer than 10 minutes, please mention this to the receptionist at the time of booking. We endeavour to run to time. Illness and complications can cause delays. The receptionist will try and keep you informed.
The Daily Advice Surgery is held every weekday morning from 8.30 am to 10.50 am. It offers appointments for urgent cases.
We see all urgent cases on the same day. If an urgent appointment is required, please contact the Surgery before 10.00 am. The Doctor on duty will be able to see you in the Daily Advice Surgery
If you require a home visit because you are too ill or incapacitated to attend the Surgery, please telephone 01904 728243 before 10.00 am (if possible). The receptionist will either enable you to speak with the Doctor or she will confirm with the Doctor that a visit will be made.
We adopt a policy of encouraging attendance at the Surgery, as generally most things can be dealt with more efficiently there.
Please note that the Doctor who visits your home will most likely be the one who visits your Village.
The Duty Doctor is available each morning between 8.30 am and 12.00 am. Should you require to speak with a Doctor regarding a health-related problem or the results of any test or investigation, please contact the Surgery during these hours.
